Discover Our Expertise in Steel

Helping steel exporters and product manufacturers (e.g. machined parts, tubes, casting, punched & bent parts) comply with EU carbon regulations. The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), introduced under Regulation (EU) 2023/956, is designed to ensure that imported steel products face the same carbon costs as those produced within the EU.
Steel is one of the most affected sectors, as it is highly carbon-intensive and already accounts for a significant share of global emissions.
Since January 2026, importers into the EU must purchase CBAM certificates based on the embedded CO₂ emissions of steel products, linked to the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS).

Accurate CO2 Footprint calculation for steel and semi-finished products

We calculate product-level embedded emissions in line with EU CBAM methodology, covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

2

CBAM reporting support aligned with EU methodologies

We support the full CBAM reporting cycle, from data preparation to submission, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/956 requirements.
